The First Step Towards Becoming an Airline Pilot
Our Airline Pilot Program on an F-1 Visa helps international students to achieve their airline career goals in the United States.
This program provides candidates with comprehensive flight training and the opportunity to gain practical experience through on campus job (for those who qualify) and OPT (Optional Practical Training) in the United States.
Upon completing the training, candidates have the opportunity to work on campus or use their OPT and apply for a Social Security number.

For students earning Wayman’s associate degree of aeronautical science, the school holds FAA institutional authority to provide its graduates with an R-ATP endorsement (restricted privileges airline transport pilot certificate)
This endorsement enables students to apply for the R-ATP license with only 1,250 hours instead of the 1,500 hours required by the FAA, which allow you to apply for the airlines 6 months sooner.

Requirements
- You should be 17 and older and healthy enough to pass the 1st class FAA medical exam.
- You should have a high school diploma or equivalent (Non-US diploma needs to be evaluated for equivalency)
- English requirements: TOEFL Paper 500, TOEFL iBT 70, TOEFL cBT 173, IELTS 5.5, TOEIC 700, Duolingo 100
- Proof of funding – should be enough to cover training fees and living expenses (estimated at $1,000/month on top of tuition)
- You need to pass the future pilot skills test (upon arrival)
