How to Become A Piedmont Cadet

Step 1

Enroll into Wayman

Join Wayman’s Airline Pathway Program and get your Private Pilot license, Instrument Rating, Commercial Single, and Flight Instructor Ratings.

Check your Pilot Career eligibility

Step 2

Become a Flight Instructor at Wayman College

Apply for a position as a full-time flight instructor. Receive rigorous airline-oriented training and build flight hours.

Step 3

Apply to the Piedomnt Cadet Program with 500hrs

After joining, participants can take part in Piedmont recruiting events and outreach programs, paving the way to a fulfilling commercial pilot career.

Step 4

ATP-CTP Sponsorship Benefits

Piedmont will pay for your ATP-CTP course and test, along with hotel accommodations and ground transportation during the course. Once you complete the ATP-CTP course and exam, you’ll be placed into the next available new hire class at Piedmont, with no additional interview required.

Requirements

Must possess a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.
Be a U.S. citizen or able to show proof of right to work in the U.S.
Valid first class Class Medical
No Criminal Record
No FAA Violations

Tuition & Fees

$69,866 Vocational Program

$95,833 with A.S. College Degree (Flight Instructor Track)

The payment plan is flexible with the options to pay the full amount upfront or in monthly installments to ensure affordability and accessibility for all students.
