Wayman Earns Prestigious .EDU Domain Name

Press Release

Wayman.EDU

Miami, FL USAWayman Aviation Academy’s website moved to Wayman.EDU today. The prestigious South Florida Flight school has earned a .EDU domain solidifying it’s distinction as an ACCET accredited institution of higher learning. The .EDU top level domain names are closely held and only made available for schools that meet the rigorous requirements and inspections of accreditation by ACCET.

Wayman Aviation Academy reached accreditation in the spring of 2019. The multi-year process from the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET) was strenuous. It took multiple audits, inspections and revisions to every part of the school to reach this distinction. The catalog was scrutinized to make sure that students were protected from enrollment to finances and job placement. The syllabus was equipped to not only meet FAA standards, but also the high bar of the US Department of Education. Accreditation requires the institution to have complete transparency in it’s processes. All advertising has to be factual, admissions must be clear about the schools offerings and requirements. Student affairs has to track progress, graduation and job placement.
